A top official of Hunan Province's public security bureau was put under "double designation" for allegedly accepting bribes of millions of yuan.
Yang Jiannong, deputy director-general of the bueau, was being investigated for allegedly taking millions in bribes from a real estate developer from Changsha, the provincial capital, the Beijing News reported yesterday.
Double designation means a Party official needs to explain claims of disciplinary violations or wrongdoings at designated time and place.
