The Party’s anti-corruption watchdog said yesterday it was investigating Xu Jie, a deputy director of the State Bureau for Letter and Calls, for suspected severe violations of Party regulations and state laws.
The term usually refers to corruption charges.
Xu is under investigation for serious law and discipline violations, said a statement from the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China.
