Official sacked and detained over obscene pictures of group sex

THE official who appeared in pornographic video clips and photos on the Internet had been sacked and deprived of his Party membership. Disciplinary authorities in Kunming, capital of Yunnan Province, said yesterday the man had been handed over to police for engaging in obscene group sex.

The man surnamed Cheng was an official with the Kunming Development and Reform Commission. He was firstly seen in three "sex party" pictures posted on a public website on July 31. Cheng reported to police claiming he was blackmailed by some strangers who used Photoshop to put his face on those pictures.

Investigators found four suspects used a dating website in April to lure Cheng to a condo where he had sex with three women. They took his photos and video with a hidden camera to blackmail him later.

The police later confirmed the man in the photos was indeed Cheng. All the four suspects have been detained as well.
