Oil tank truck blast kills 20 workers

An oil tank truck exploded at about 5pm this morning after it overturned on a highway bridge in the Guangzhou section of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway in Guangdong Province. The fire spread to a timber processing factory under the bridge and has caused 20 deaths. Most of those killed were factory workers.
Guangzhou Party Secretary Wan Qingliang and Mayor Chen Jianhua have rushed to the disaster site.
The cause of the deadly accident is still under investigation.
