One person has died and more than 20 were injured in an explosion around noon today at a company lunchroom in Dongguan in south China’s Guangdong Province, according to Southern Metropolis Daily.
The explosion occurred at a lunchroom of the Dongguan branch of Sinopec, the government-owned energy giant, in the Zhongqiao Building on Qifeng Road. Ambulances are rushing to the scene. The dead and wounded are all company staff.
