One dies, three injured as cable car falls

A cable car fell yesterday from an eight-meter-high cableway at the Wild Elephant Valley in Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture in southwest China's Yunnan Province. One died and three people were injured.
According to the local government, the car dropped after an uprooted tree fell on the cableway. The area was hit by torrential rains in recent days.
A female tourist died on the spot. Among the three injured, two were minors. They have been hospitalized and have no life-threatening injuries.
