Outrage as official website promotes 'slight' sexual abuse

PUBLIC outrage has spread after an article was published on the official Chongqing Government website detailing how to mix slight abuse with sexual intercourse, according to Xinhua News Agency.
Netizens yesterday found an article titled "Slight Sexual Abuse makes Sex More Provocative" under the website's "Reproductive Health" section. The article was published by the Chongqing Population and Family Planning Commission.
It provided detailed guides on how to add elements of slight sadomasochism into common sexual intercourse, including exaggerated descriptions. Similar articles were found under the same category.
Thousands of people yesterday took part in a subsequent discussion on microblog Weibo. Some netizens thought the articles were not a big deal but an idea to popularize sexual education, while others thought the article went too far and had badly affected the image of the government.
The online category was closed at around 4pm yesterday and the article was deleted, but the Chongqing government has not made any comments on the issue so far.
