Outrage at explicit kindergarten sex lessons

DOLLS featuring realistic sexual organs for teaching sex education to kindergarten pupils in central China has sparked outrage among parents.
In a sex education lesson, the four-year-old children could clearly name the sex organs and tell the difference between genders in a kindergarten in Zhengzhou, provincial capital of Henan, Zhengzhou Evening News reported today.
The kids were also taught the process of sexual intercourse and how a sperm and egg met. The sex education was even more explicit than textbooks used in a pilot project at selected schools in Shanghai and Beijing that has sparked controversy around the country because of its detailed description of intercourse and its graphic illustrations.
A parent who was astonished to find such lessons were offered in the kindergarten told the newspaper: "I am worried that it's not good for the kids to know sexual knowledge so early."
He Feng, who heads the kindergarten and an expert in sex education, said children should undergo sex education as early as possible.
