Paralyzed woman sexually abused in hospital

POLICE in northeast Jilin Province are offering a reward of 10,000 yuan (US$1,498) for tip-off information of a man who sexually abused a bedridden female patient in a hospital.
Police said surveillance video showed a man in his 30s or 40s suspectedly sexually abused a 30-year-old woman who was unable to talk or move due to brain tumor in the ward on the early morning of October 21.
The victim died later after medical treatment failed, the local media reported today.
The patient's mother said she found her daughter "in shock" after an unidentified man left her ward in a hurry that day. Her daughter have been allegedly sexually assaulted by the man.
Police said they were still investigating the case. Interview request to the hospital authorities went unanswered.
