A passenger died after falling on the track at a subway station in Beijing on Thursday morning, the rail authority said.
The accident happened at 10:42 am at Muxidi Station on Subway Line 1. The train attempted an emergency stop and the passenger was lifted onto the platform, according to the subway company.
Transportation on the line resumed as of 10:55 am.
The cause and details of the accident are still unknown.
