CHINA'S first lady Peng Liyuan has visited a national art center for young people in Belarus.
Young people and children welcomed Peng with flowers, as well as bread and salt—a tradition to receive distinguished guests. She then toured an exhibition of childrens' paintings, to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II.
The first lady praised the pictures and handmade dolls, and the children performed local songs and dances for Peng.
Peng said she liked their performance very much, and expressed hope that the performers could go to China in the future to further promote the bilateral friendship.
