EIGHT people died and 12 others injured in a traffic accident this morning in Pujiang County, Zhejiang Province officials said.
The accident occurred at 9:20am in a provincial highway when a truck carrying paint crashed into several other vehicles, including motorcycles and sedans.
Five people died at the scene and three others died after emergency treatment had failed, Xinhua News Agency reported.
A further investigation is still under way.
