Police confirm headmaster's role in sex scandal

A SCHOOL headmaster and a law enforcement official were caught with prostitutes during a police raid last week, police confirmed yesterday in Wenzhou City, east China's Zhejiang Province.

The two were fined and the middle school headmaster resigned after the scandal, today's Qianjiang Evening News reported.

Police said the teacher surnamed Tang and a vice captain of Lucheng District's law-enforcement squad surnamed Lu were among 14 people caught engaging in prostitution during a raid on January 25 at a massage parlor.

Police shut the massage house and detained its three operators and six prostitutes.
