Police hold 7 for deadly Beijing fire
POLICE have held seven people, including a policeman and three district officials, responsible for a fire that killed 18 people and injured 24 others in Beijing, officials said on Friday.
Fifteen officials were also punished for the fire, which broke out in a four-story garment workshop that included a workers' dormitory in Daxing District on April 25. It was the deadliest fire in Beijing in nine years.
