Police look for 5 missing kids
POLICE in Zhejiang Province are investigating the disappearance of five children who went missing during the Spring Festival holiday.
The three girls and two boys from two families have been missing since last Thursday in Tiantai County, according to a Hangzhou Daily report.
The youngest, seven-year-old Cai Songtao, is the son of Cai Xiuming. The three girls, Cai Kangni, 13, Cai Yani, 12, Cai Danni, 10, and boy Cai Binbin, 9, are the children of Cai Xiutong, Cai Xiuming's younger brother.
Cai Yani told her grandma at about 2pm on Thursday that she would go out and play with her brothers and sisters for about one hour. They haven't been seen since.
Almost everyone in Xialuwang, a village of 500 people, has participated in the search for the children.
Cai Xiuming posted nearly 100 notices around the county looking for the kids and he has also used the Internet to get help to find the children, the report said.
The grandma recalled that the kids once said they would go to a neighboring village. And a villager there said he saw the five kids at about 3pm on Thursday.
All of the kids except Cai Yani were scheduled to leave the village for Gansu Province the day after they went missing. Their parents run a hardware and rubber business in Gansu, the report said.
