Police neglect results in brutal revenge
AUTHORITIES in central Henan Province are questioning police officers whose carelessness let a detained robber to escape and later to revenge the informer by chopping his arms off.
The 44-year-old whistleblower Wang Haorang could not do anything without the help of his niece after his both arms were hacked off from elbow by Wang Changzai, who ran away from custody in Qinyang County in 2007.
Wang Haorang said he was intercepted by Wang Changzai and five men on a driveway near his home. They pointed him with a home-made gun and asked him whether he tipped off police about their earlier robbery.
After Wang Haorang admitted, the six men beat him by sticks and chopped off his arms with a big knife.
