Police offer reward in bomber hunt
POLICE in central China are offering a 100,000 yuan (US$14,760) reward for information leading to the arrest of a man alleged to have detonated a bomb in a tax office, killing four people and injuring 19 others.
Liu Zhuiheng, 51, from Hengyang City, fled after the explosion in the office in Changsha, capital of Hunan Province on July 30.
Police said an initial investigation had shown that the explosion was the result of a planned attack.
A police officer said Liu might have had a grudge against a bank's president, Peng Maowu, and wanted to vent his anger by killing his son, Peng Tao, a taxation officer.
Liu is alleged to have placed a bomb outside the room where Peng Tao was at a meeting and detonated it by remote control.
Three men, including Peng Tao, and one woman died at the scene.
