Police reward offered
POLICE in southern China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region are offering a cash reward of 20,000 yuan (US$2,932) for information leading to the arrest of two men who allegedly played a role in killing five people during a robbery.
Police from Lingyun County's public security bureau published photos of the two suspects yesterday.
The suspects were identified as Li Yan, 37, and Li Daoliu, 46. Both are natives of Shanglin County, officers said.
An initial investigation showed three suspects, all male, were involved in the robbery and killings, police said. Officers added that one of the suspects had already been caught and was in custody.
The robbery and killings occurred at a home in Sicheng Town of Lingyun late in the afternoon on Friday.
The victims included a family of three and two of their guests. Two other guests were injured.
The owner of the home was surnamed Huang. The family was known to be wealthy with total assets of more than 10 million yuan, according to neighbors.
