Police to probe foreigner in sex harassment case
A FOREIGNER who told a female TV reporter: “Show me your boobs,” has been traced in Wuhan by police who are investigating the alleged sexual harassment case.
The reporter, surnamed Wang, had approached three foreigners during a street interview in the city in central China’s Hubei Province, Hubei Economic TV Channel reported.
Wang said she and a cameraman, surnamed Miao, were collecting Christmas responses from expats.
When she tried to interview the three foreigners, one repeatedly said: “I love you.”
Miao said he initially thought the young man was just being friendly.
“But I soon realized he didn’t have any goodwill,” Miao said.
The man then started to grab the microphone and Wang’s arms. He shouted to Wang: “Show me your boobs,” video footage aired by the Hubei channel showed.
Police in Wuhan’s Hongshan District said they are investigating the case.
