A POLICEMAN has shot and killed a driver in a dispute over a scratch on a vehicle in southwest China's Yunnan Province, police said.
Ji Zhongchun, 42, a police officer with Mengzi County Public Security Bureau, was backing his car at 9:30pm on Friday. Pan Jun, a 40-year-old employee of a local electricity company, claimed Ji's car scratched his vehicle, according to a spokesman of Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture.
Pan assaulted Ji during the argument, then Ji shot Pan dead, the spokesman said.
