Pop star facing drugs rap

POP singer Mao Ning was detained in Beijing yesterday on suspicion of taking drugs, police said.
The 47-year-old was taken into custody after police raided an apartment in Chaoyang District, they said, adding that the entertainer's urine tested positive for drugs.
Earlier this month, singer Yin Xiangjie was arrested for drugs offenses for the second time in Beijing.
In March, Beijing police detained Chinese actor Wang Xuebing, star of last year's Golden Bear winning film, for a suspected drug offense.
