Power outage delays high-speed trains
A few train services on the Beijing-Shanghai High Speed Rail were delayed this morning due to a power glitch in Shandong Province.
The breakdown happened at 7:32am when power supply went out in the section between Tai'an and Qufu stations.
Shanghai railway operator said at noon that seven train services were affected, ranging from five minutes to 147 minutes.
Emergency repair is still underway, the officials said.
