Premier says growth remains in 鈥榬easonable range鈥
CHINA’S economy for the first three quarters remains within a “reasonable range,” says Chinese Premier Li Keqiang.
Li was meeting delegations of Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation members ahead of finance ministers’ meetings in Beijing today.
“Generally speaking, China’s economy for the first three quarters of this year has remained within a reasonable range, accompanied by some positive and profound changes,” Li said.
Noting improvements in structural optimization, employment and energy conservation, Li said new impetuses for the economy had gathered speed, resulting from streamlining administration, delegating powers and other measures.
“Meanwhile, we are faced with a complex and changing external environment, large downward pressure and difficulties for China’s economy. It takes time for China’s reformative measures to be fully effective,” he said.
