President Hu attends opening ceremony of China-US dialogue

Chinese President Hu Jintao today attended the opening ceremony of the fourth round of the China-US Strategic and Economic Dialogue (S&ED).
Hu is scheduled to address the opening ceremony of the annual gathering of high-ranking officials from the two countries.
During the dialogue, the officials are expected to exchange views on how to advance the construction of the China-US bilateral cooperative partnership, deepen communication and coordination on macroeconomic policies and major issues in the world economy, boost economic and trade cooperation and enhance communication on international and regional affairs.
