President says foreign funds important for development

CHINA'S market environment is fair and there is no finish line to improving a market economy, President Xi Jinping said.
Attracting foreign funds is an important channel for China to import advanced technology, speed up industrial upgrading, and learn from international experiences, Xi said during a discussion with businesspeople from home and abroad.
All companies registered in China are important to China's economy, he said. Improvements in the legal system and investment environment will enable all enterprises to enjoy equal access to production, market competition and legal protection, he added.
We will continue to improve investment environment, so that all enterprises can enjoy equal access to factors of production, market competition and legal protection, the president said.
