Probe ‘in line with law’

An ongoing investigation into separatist activities of a Uygur teacher is in line with China’s law, said Nur Bekri, chairman of the regional government of northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, yesterday.
Police said in January that their probe proved that Ilham Tohti, from Minzu University of China in Beijing, undertook separatist activities.
