Prostitute trick dad arrested

A FATHER who tricked police into wrongfully detaining two of his primary school daughters for prostitution has been arrested for providing accommodation for prostitution.
Wuhua District People's Procuratorate in Yunnan Province's Kunming City made the arrest order on Sunday, today's Kunming Daily reported.
A police investigation found Liu Shihua and his lover Zhang Anfeng had forced his daughter Chen Yan (not her real name) to work as a prostitute at their home from October 2008.
While police were keeping Chen under observation on March 16, the couple decided to fool the officers. They hid Chen and got Zhang's older daughter to put on Chen's clothes and escort Chen's client out of their home.
The couple, Zhang's two daughters and friends were detained but they were released the next morning.
The couple faked virginity reports for the two girls and asked for compensation of 200,000 yuan (US$29,000) from the police for wrongful arrests.
Subsequently the father Liu Shihua was detained and Zhang Anfeng, the mother, was released on bail.
Prosecutors have refuted a claim by the couple that they were forced by local police into confessing to tricking police into arresting their daughters for prostitution.
