Public toilets flushed away

PEOPLE living in a northeastern China county are complaining they have had no new public toilets for 13 years.
The planner of Fuyu County in Jilin Province has never included public toilets in its plans for the county, the People's Daily reported.
The county underwent an urban reconstruction in 2005 and all the 30 public toilets were then demolished. But no new toilets have been built.
Passengers at the county's railway station have to answer calls of nature in dark corners of the station, as toilet there was also demolished.
Between 8,000 and 10,000 passengers use the station every day.
