Quakes hit Taiwan

FIVE earthquakes struck Taiwan on Saturday between 9:19 am and 4:52pm, according to the island’s weather bureau. No damage or casualties have been reported from these quakes. A 4.1-magnitude earthquake, the strongest of the five, jolted Miaoli County at 9:19am, with a depth of 3.5 kilometers. Yilan County was hit by three jolts and another struck Chiayi County.
