Quality Failures

LEADING sportswear brands failed quality tests recently and could cause skin problems, officials said yesterday after an inspection by consumers' rights and interests commissions in 22 cities, including Shanghai and Beijing.

Coats from Converse and Northland were found to contain substances that could irritate the skin and the color of Columbia trousers and a Lotto shirt was found to fade easily.
