Rail traveler fined over porn video in phone
CATCHING a train led to a 200-yuan (US$29.30) fine for a traveler when railway police found a Japanese pornographic video on his mobile phone, Chongqing-based cqnews.net reported today.
One officer turned on the Chongqing man's mobile while others checked his ID card and ticket at Shaoxing Railway Station in Zhejiang Province on December 29, the report said.
The policeman checked the phone's multimedia list and found the video. The officers threatened the man with five days' detention and the fine, but settled for just the fine. However, they didn't give the man a receipt for the money, the report said.
"We produced no receipt because railway police are different from other police bureaus," said an employee at the rail police station.
