Railway Ministry updates train death toll to 36
THE train collision in east China's Zhejiang Province has killed 36 people and left 192 others injured as of last night.
The figure was released in a statement on the Ministry of Railways website today after a tele-conference at 9:00 last night.
A total of 132 people are being treated in 11 hospitals and those who suffered slight injuries had been discharged from hospital, said Wang Yongping, spokesman with the ministry at a press conference.
