Rapist gets life in jail

A MAN has been jailed for life for raping nine women with the help of his wife, who was sentenced to 15 1/2 years in prison in Guangdong Province.
Foshan City Intermediate People's Court passed the sentence on Zhang Linqun, 50, and his wife Jin Ling, 28, Guangzhou Daily reported yesterday.
Zhang, a jobless Beijing native, told Jin that he needed to have sex with young women to maintain his health. Jin, from Zhejiang Province, believed him and decided to help.
They drilled holes in the bathroom door at their villa in Foshan to take pictures of women in the shower. They then used the pictures to blackmail them into submission, the report said.
The first victim was Jin's friend, a 23-year-old Guangdong native surnamed Dong. Jin told her that she could cure her menstrual pains by having sex with Zhang, a so-called "cure-all doctor."
Dong and her friend Li, who were both raped by Zhang, helped lure seven other women - including their own sisters - to have sex with Zhang on 30 occasions.
