Rapist of 9 girls and a woman is executed
A MAN in northeast China has been executed for raping nine underage girls and one woman in the past 10 years, according to Jilin-based City Evening News.
Before the execution was carried out on Tuesday in Liaoyuan County, Jilin Province, Huang Xianyue, 44, said he regretted destroying the girls' lives and putting his own family to shame.
Huang crept into a house in Dongfeng County and took a 10-year-old girl away from her sleeping parents on a midnight in May 1988. He then raped the girl on a hill and released her back home.
Huang similarly abducted and raped another eight girls, including one aged five, and attempted to rape another six but failed between 1988 and 2008.
He threatened to kill the girls with a knife or hit them when they tried to resist.
He raped one woman by threatening to kill her one-year-old son.
Huang was arrested when fleeing to Deihui County in central Jilin Province in October 2008.
His wife Jin Guihua, 48, was sentenced to three years in jail for sheltering Huang and providing him with fake identity cards to aid him in escape.
Huang said he was in a tense relationship with Jin, who was diagnosed with cancer and couldn't satisfy him in sex, according to the Liaoyuan Intermediate People's Court.
He targeted young girls because they wouldn't resist and their parents often tried to keep the rape as a secret for fear of losing face.
