A residential building in east China's Zhejiang Province collapsed today, the local fire department said.
The accident happened in the Jiangdong district of the city of Ningbo around noon, when a five-story residential building collapsed, according to municipal firefighters.
The number of casualties is unknown at present.
A witness at the site said that some residents were trapped.
Rescue work is under way.
