FORENSIC results have confirmed that a teenager who died at a training camp early this month in southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region was beaten to death.

The victim's family has been advised and an investigation into the case continues, Wang Mingjun, vice director of Jiangnan District branch of Nanning City Public Security Bureau, told the newspaper.
Deng Senshan, a youth under 16 years of age, was reported dead on August 2, only 12 hours after being sent to the Qihang Salvation Training Camp in Nanning, capital of Guangxi, to cure his Internet addiction, according to earlier media reports.
His parents claimed the teachers had beaten up as his body was covered with scratches. There was evidence of blood clots in his mouth and nose, the youth's father Deng Fei claimed, showing pictures he took at the funeral home.
Police have closed the school and stopped all training. Four teachers have been detained over the matter.
The camp which claimed to treat young people addicted to the Internet and other problems was later found to be operating without a license.
