Rewards offer for clues to catch Xinjiang rioters

WHISTLEBLOWERS offering crucial clues to catch rioters will be granted a reward of up to 100,000 yuan (US$16,303), Xinjiang's news portal (www.tianshan.cn) reported.
Anyone who has information can report to the public security bureau in person, by phone or via the Internet with their anonymity guaranteed.
The police also said that criminals who gave themselves up would be given lenient sentences.
Xinjiang police said they were still chasing rioters involved in a terrorist attack last Wednesday which led to the death of 35 people, 11 of them rioters.
