Ringtone gives burglar a heart attack
A THIEF suffered a heart attack when a cell phone rang in a home he was burgling in Zhejiang Province.
The thief surnamed Ying broke into an apartment on Sunday, planning to steal some money before the Spring Festival, reported Qianjiang Evening News today.
The apartment's owner Zhao returned at lunchtime because he had left his phone behind -鈥 only to find the burglar collapsed on the floor.
Zhao's phone ringtone was "freeze, police" which frightened the would-be thief. The suspect has now been detained after treatment in hospital.
