Road explodes, killing 1 and wounding 3

THREE explosions occurred around 8pm yesterday in Yibin, a city in the southwestern Sichuan Province, killing one woman and injuring three others, Sichuan Daily reported.
A witness said the three explosions left three big holes of about one meter deep in the road and they might be caused by leaked gas. Yibin police said they are investigating the cause of the explosions.
The report said a woman, named Chen Pei, happened to be walking on the road when the explosions happened. She was rushed to the hospital and died there later. The three wounded victims are in stable condition.
