RULES on budgets for government receptions are loosely enforced, a senior official said yesterday.
Li Baorong, deputy head of the Government Offices Administration of the State Council, said bans on the use of public funds to purchase luxury items or services had not been strictly enforced. Li pledged to introduce more supervision.
