SCO starts live-ammunition anti-terror exercises
WITH three red signal flares shot into the sky, Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member countries launched their live-ammunition exercises of the "Peace Mission 2010" anti-terror drill today.
The drill has drawn 5,000 troops from five of the six SCO member states -- China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan.
Defense ministers of the countries are on the spot to watch the exercises.
