S&M tips divide opinion
A CONTROVERSIAL article published on the official Chongqing government website offering advice on sadomasochistic sex has produced a mixed reaction from the public.
Web users yesterday found the article "Slight Sexual Abuse makes Sex More Provocative" under the Chongqing government website's "Reproductive Health" section, reported Xinhua news agency.
It was published by the Chongqing Population and Family Planning Commission and provided details on how to add S&M elements to more conventional lovemaking.
Thousands of people yesterday discussed the article on microblog Weibo.
Some were not offended by the S&M tips, saying it was part of sex education.
But others thought it went too far and badly affected the government's image.
The debate closed yesterday and the article was deleted.
Chongqing government made no comment.
