San Francisco flight survivors return to China
THE thirty-one students and teachers from Jiangshan Middle School in east China's Zhejiang Province who survived the fatal Asiana Airlines plane crash have returned to China.
They had been traveling to the US to attend a summer camp when their plane crash-landed in San Francisco on July 6th. Two female students from the group died in the accident. Another girl who was previously in critical condition died on Friday night local time from her injuries.
The surviving members arrived in Beijing at 6pm yesterday. Two family members of the victims and three local government staff who'd flown to the US also returned on the same flight. The group will stay in Beijing for one night before traveling to Zhejiang's capital city, Hangzhou, today.
