Scenic area hiring busty virgins to pick tea leaves

A SCENIC area in Henan Province is looking for young women who are virgins and have large breasts to pick tea leaves using their lips, claiming the requirements are necessary to preserve "cultural tradition."
West Jiuhua Mountain in Xinyang City is hiring tea picking workers and requires the candidates be young women who have never had sex, have a C-cup bra size and no obvious scars on their body. The company offers 500 yuan (US$77) per day, according to the information posted online, China News Service reported yesterday.
The requirements sparked an online discussion. Many suspect the company released the recruitment information to stir up media hype.
"It's ridiculous that the company didn't require previous work experience but specified no sex experience was allowed," a netizen said. Many netizens couldn't understand what virginity and large breasts have to do with tea picking.
Li Yong, an official at the scenic area, confirmed the recruitment information was true. He said a coming tea culture festival would include a performance of virgins picking tea leaves with their lips.
"We are hiring 10 girls to perform the traditional ritual to inherit culture. We will auction off the tea leaves that they pick," Li said.
Tea expert Ouyang Daokun said the whole idea was just a cheap publicity stunt.
