SEVERAL Beijing high school students have been placed under police control after an online video clip, showing two schoolboys taking off a female student's underpants to expose her genitals in a classroom, was widely circulated on the Internet - the second recent case of school sexual abuse being filmed and posted online.
The molestation reportedly took place in Beijing's Shunyi No.5 High School and the video clip was believed to have been circulated among students of the school for about a year before it was uploaded online last Friday, the Beijing Times reported yesterday.
All the links online had been deleted by 4pm on Friday, but some Netizens may have downloaded it.
Only a few days ago, another online video clip - showing a female vocational school student in Zhejiang Province having her breasts touched by male classmates - outraged Netizens and led to a police investigation.
Both cases have raised national concern about juveniles' morality and their attitudes to sex.
Vigilant Netizens identified the three male students in the Beijing video and published their names online.
Beijing police also took some other students who might be involved for questioning accompanied by their parents.
A student from the Beijing school said only one of the three whose identities were published was a student of the school.
The suspected abuser, surnamed Li, is a grade-nine student known for having many friends outside the school, the Beijing Times said.
