Schoolmaster accused of raping 9 girls

A rural school principal in Qianshan County, Anhui Province was charged with raping and molesting nine girls in the past 12 years, today's Jianghuai Morning Post reported.
Yang Qifa, 59, sexually assaulted nine students aged 6 to 10 when he was the headmaster from 2001 to 2012, local prosecutors said.
His crimes surfaced last August when one student was asked in a children's game to confess all her secrets. "I have a secret. Teacher Yang insulted me once. He hugged me and took off my pants in his office," she said.
Her younger sister said she had the same experience and gave the names of other victims to a woman who proposed the game. The woman called police and took six of the nine girls for a medical check.
Their parents knew nothing about their experiences until Yang was led away for police investigation. Some girls had told their parents about Yang's behavior, but the adults didn't believe it. Some girls were too ashamed to speak out, the paper said.
