TWO senior officials are being investigated for serious disciplinary violations, Xinhua news agency reported today.
Wang Huayuan, the top disciplinary supervisor of Zhejiang Province, is under investigation, according to a source from the Communist Party of China Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.
Wang, 61, served as a standing member of CPC Zhejiang Committee and was made the head of its disciplinary committee from November 23, 2006.
Wang was also a member of CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.
And Chen Shaoji, chairman of the People's Political Consultative Conference of Guangdong Province, is also under investigation for disciplinary violation, according to the same source.
