Four former officials in Shanxi Province are under investigation for corruption and abusing power, according to the Supreme People’s Procuratorate.
Zhang Bao, former mayor of Changzhi city, is being investigated for abuse of power and bribery.
Duan Jianguo, former head of the transport department, is being probed for bribery. Jia Jianming, former vice president of the state-owned Shanxi Road & Bridge Construction Group, faces bribery and embezzlement charges. And Li Huazhong, who headed transportation management department, is being looked into for bribery.
