Shooting suspect caught in NE China

A man who was suspected of shooting and injuring three people with a shotgun in Heilongjiang Province was detained yesterday, China News Service reported.
Guan Lixin was hired to murder the manager of Tianshun shopping center over a business dispute, the report said. Details of the dispute were not reported.
According to police, Guan was wearing a mask and dressed in fatigues when he shot three people in front of Tianshun shopping center on September 1 in Kedong County, Qiqihar City. He fled on a motorcycle.
The shopping center’s manager was one of the victims, along with two passers-by, the report said. The extent of their wounds was not reported.
Police offered a 300,000 yuan (US$48,960) reward for tips leading to his capture.
Guan was caught at 5pm yesterday after an anonymous tip. Five other suspects have been arrested in the case, the report said.
