Shop fire kills 6

THE death toll from a meat shop fire in Hubei Province has risen to six after a nine-month-old infant was confirmed dead yesterday. The fire broke out about 3:30am in the shop on the ground floor of a building in Ezhou City.

The owner of the meat shop, Hu Lianghu, has been detained by police.
